Fired Google engineer James Damore rubs elbows with his supporters on Reddit AMA
Looks like fired Google engineer James Damore isn't disappearing from our news feeds anytime soon.
The man behind the 10-page manifesto that claimed there are "biological causes" that prevent more women from getting jobs in tech made that clear by wearing a T-shirt with an altered version of the Google logo that reads "Goolag." The meme originated on 4chan's far-right /pol/ board.

Like, really matters. But he can't go it alone, so what better way that to host an AMA session on his fan club sub-Reddit to communicate with his supporters? (Reddit AMAs are usually hosted on r/IAmA. Damore said he didn't know how to host an AMA and thought r/JamesDamore would be a non-partisan place to put it.)

“I was participating in a concerted effort to discuss the terms and conditions of my working environment and point out potentially illegal policies/behavior,” Damore said. “I believe I have a legal right to do that.”
He also invited the guy to seek employment in companies that are not "so ideologically driven".
