LONDON -- Normally, getting plugged by a national newspaper in an article about "artists expected to be the next big thing" would be every band's dream.

Not always, though.

At the end of 2016, The Sunpublished an article titled "7 for 2017", which listed seven artists "likely to make their musical breakthrough" in the coming year.

One of these was post-punk band Cabbage from Manchester, UK.

"The band sing about everyday issues with a sense of humour and no subject is out of bound," reads the article.

And shortly after that piece was published, Cabbage lived up to their description:

They certainly don't mince their words, do they?

Their response went down well on social media.

Looks like Cabbage have just won themselves some new fans.
