Nothing to see here, just a cricket commentator announcing a match during his vasectomy

Not even a vasectomy will stand between this man and the sport of gentlemen.

One cricket commentator was apparently so determined to not miss a day on the job, he decided to do a live broadcast of a New Zealand-Australia match while getting a vasectomy.

After the numbing anesthetic kicks in, commentator Mike Lane goes about his regular broadcasting routine, streaming the game in one hand and adding commentary through a phone in the other.

It's as if there's nothing unusual at all going on.

Lane is part of the Alternative Commentary Collective, a "galaxy of cricketing cult heroes, has-beens and never-wills" which broadcasts cricket content online.

The video, posted live on the ACC's Facebook page, racked up 15,000 views. Of the nearly 100 people who commented, most seemed pretty amused by the whole thing. "This is glorious," one commenter said. "Multitasking like a fucking boss lol," another chipped in.

Even better, you can listen to the match broadcast, including Lane's phoned-in commentary, on SoundCloud. Lane enters at 18:40, interjecting comments like "I can't feel my balls!" between play-by-play.

This man don’t like cricket -- he loves it. Perhaps a little too much.
